CSP Iniedu Anietie Okokon, prior to his appointment as Force Public Relations Officer, has served as the Head, Complaint Response Unit, Force Headquarters, Abuja [2025 – 2026], where he oversaw the processing and resolution of public complaints against police personnel, distinguishing himself in Police Oversight & Accountability in Nigeria. He also held the position of Public Relations Officer, Police College of Information Technology, Kobape, Ogun State [2014 – 2016], where he managed the institution's public communications and media relations.
A versatile, dedicated, highly dogged and very focused officer, CSP iniedu Okokon has occupied several strategic operational and administrative positions throughout his career, including:
- Operations Officer, Maisandari Division, Yobe State Command
- Area Crime Officer, Umuahia Area Command, Abia State
- Staff Officer, IGP Secretariat, Force Headquarters, Abuja
- Second-in-Command (2i/c), 50PMF Squadron, Kubwa, Abuja
- Officer-in-Charge, Force Headquarters Situation Room, responsible for daily crime data collation, analysis and reporting nationwide, a role he diligently handled alongside being Head of the Nigeria Police Complaint Response Unit.
CSP Iniedu A. Okokon is an alumni of the prestigious Nigeria Police Academy, Kano. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Pure Chemistry from the University of Uyo. Additionally, he is a certified open-source intelligence analyst, digital marketer & communications strategist, equipping him with modern tools to execute the Force's public relations mandate in the digital age. He is happily married and blessed with children.
